Deborah Malone

I was born in New York, but have lived in Broward county for most of my life. I grew up here. I went to school for cosmotology because I was elected to drive my sister in-law to school everyday.  I liked hair so why not. After graduating the first thing I did was look to get my own salon (I think everyone does that).

 

I decided against owning my own salon so I went out and got my first job. With in 3 years I became an assistant manager of a salon and then a manager. I loved doing hair and making people look and feel better. I left the industry for 8 years, which allowed me spend time with my 3 children. Then one day after everyone moved out or off to College I decided wow I am bored and would love to go back to doing hair.  I went on a hunt to buy a salon. This time I did, Split Endz Salon in Coral Springs. What a great place. The staff is amazing. I love what I do and the people I work with. This industry has given me knowledge, confidence and lasting friendships, I would have never found with out it. So I am grateful and thankful to all who have helped me grow.

To me this business is about people and education. we need to meet new people and educate ourselves to grow!
